Member Terms of Use & Community Agreement
Welcome to Pueblo Connect. Pueblo Connect is a community platform designed to connect residents, businesses, organizations, events, news, entertainment, and other community resources.
By creating an account, accessing Pueblo Connect, or using any Pueblo Connect service, you agree to these Terms of Use and Community Agreement (“Agreement”). If you do not agree, do not use Pueblo Connect.
1. User Responsibility
Members use Pueblo Connect voluntarily and at their own discretion.
Each member is responsible for their own conduct, communications, posts, purchases, meetings, business transactions, events, travel, interactions, and other activities arising from or related to their use of Pueblo Connect.
Pueblo Connect does not control the conduct of individual members, businesses, advertisers, event organizers, or other third parties.
Members are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment and appropriate safety precautions when interacting with people they meet through Pueblo Connect.
2. Interactions Between Members
Pueblo Connect provides technology that can help people and organizations discover and communicate with one another. Pueblo Connect is generally not a party to private relationships, meetings, agreements, purchases, disputes, or transactions between users and third parties unless Pueblo Connect expressly states otherwise.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pueblo Connect and its owners, officers, employees, representatives, affiliates, and contractors are not responsible for losses, damages, injuries, disputes, misconduct, fraud, theft, harassment, or other harm arising from independent interactions between members or between members and third-party businesses or organizations.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
3. Business Listings, Deals and Advertising
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, prices, promotions, discounts, operating hours, products, services, claims, and advertisements.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Pueblo Connect does not manufacture, sell, warrant, or guarantee products or services offered by independent businesses using the platform.
Any purchase or agreement between a member and an independent business is between those parties.
Pueblo Connect may remove advertisements, listings, promotions, or businesses that violate platform rules or applicable law.
4. Events
Events appearing on Pueblo Connect may be operated by independent organizers.
Unless Pueblo Connect expressly identifies itself as the organizer, Pueblo Connect is not responsible for the operation, safety, cancellation, accessibility, security, admission policies, products, services, or conduct occurring at third-party events.
Members attend events at their own discretion.
5. Community Rules
Members may not use Pueblo Connect to:
- Threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate against others.
- Impersonate another person or organization.
- Commit or promote fraud, scams, theft, or other unlawful conduct.
- Post illegal, defamatory, infringing, or unlawfully obtained content.

Pueblo Connect may establish additional community or program-specific rules.
6. Account Suspension and Termination
Pueblo Connect reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement, applicable Community Rules, or applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, Pueblo Connect may take action with or without advance notice where permitted by law.
Serious violations may result in immediate removal.
Pueblo Connect may also remove content, advertisements, listings, comments, photographs, videos, messages, or other material that violates its rules.
Where appropriate, Pueblo Connect may preserve or disclose information when required by law or valid legal process.
7. User-Generated Content
Members remain responsible for content they submit to Pueblo Connect.
By posting content, members represent that they have the rights and permissions necessary to post it.
Members grant Pueblo Connect a non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, format, and technically process submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve Pueblo Connect, subject to applicable law and Pueblo Connect's Privacy Policy.
8. Member Safety
Pueblo Connect does not guarantee the identity, background, intentions, honesty, safety, or conduct of every person using the platform.
Members should use appropriate precautions before meeting another member, visiting unfamiliar locations, exchanging money, purchasing products, entering into agreements, or sharing personal information.
For emergencies, members should contact 911 or the appropriate emergency authority rather than relying on Pueblo Connect.
9. Pueblo Pass, Points, Deals and Rewards
Pueblo Pass, Pueblo Points, Pueblo Deals, rewards, promotions, contests, and similar programs may be governed by additional rules.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Pueblo Points have no cash value and do not constitute currency, stored value, or property.
Offers may have expiration dates, eligibility requirements, availability limits, and merchant-specific terms.
Independent merchants remain responsible for honoring valid offers they create, subject to the applicable promotion terms.
10. Pueblo Live
Users participating in Pueblo Live are responsible for their broadcasts and conduct.
Pueblo Connect may remove or interrupt broadcasts that violate platform rules, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, safety requirements, or applicable law.
Users may not assume that filming or broadcasting another person is lawful merely because the activity occurs through Pueblo Connect.
11. Explore the Pueblo in 3D
Pueblo Connect's 3D environments, virtual businesses, avatars, virtual tours, maps, representations, and interactive experiences may be simulations or promotional representations.
Virtual representations should not be relied upon as guarantees regarding actual physical conditions, accessibility, inventory, prices, safety, operating hours, or availability.
12. The Daily Pueblo
The Daily Pueblo and Pueblo Connect may work together to provide news, advertising, promotions, QR-code experiences, events, and other community services.
Editorial content and advertiser-provided content should be identified and managed according to their respective policies.
An advertiser's participation does not automatically constitute an endorsement by The Daily Pueblo or Pueblo Connect.
13. Third-Party Services
Pueblo Connect may contain links or integrations involving third-party websites, payment processors, advertisers, maps, streaming providers, social networks, or other services.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Pueblo Connect is not responsible for independent third-party services except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be disclaimed.
14. No Guarantee of Service
Pueblo Connect does not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from technical problems.
Features may be modified, suspended, replaced, or discontinued.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUEBLO CONNECT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
Pueblo Connect disclaims warranties to the extent permitted by applicable law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
This provision does not waive rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be waived.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Pueblo Connect and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, representatives, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform or independent interactions facilitated through it.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any liability that applicable law specifically prohibits Pueblo Connect from disclaiming.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, members agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pueblo Connect and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, and representatives from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from the member's unlawful conduct, violation of this Agreement, infringement of another person's rights, or content submitted by that member.
18. Reporting Violations
Members are encouraged to report accounts, content, businesses, advertisements, or activity they reasonably believe violates Pueblo Connect rules.
Pueblo Connect may review reports and determine appropriate action based on available information.
A report does not guarantee removal or other enforcement action.
19. Privacy
Collection and use of personal information should be governed by a separate Pueblo Connect Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy should explain what information Pueblo Connect collects, why it collects it, how it is used, how long it is retained, when it is shared, and the privacy rights available to users.
20. Changes to These Terms
Pueblo Connect may update these Terms from time to time. When required by law, users will receive appropriate notice of material changes.
Continued use after an updated Agreement becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
21. Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law or another applicable law controls.
Any dispute-resolution, arbitration, class-action waiver, venue, or jury-waiver provision should be separately reviewed by qualified California counsel before being added.
Member Acceptance
By selecting “I Agree,” creating an account, or continuing to use Pueblo Connect after these Terms become effective, the member acknowledges that they have read and agree to the Pueblo Connect Terms of Use and Community Agreement.
