Draft written from what this software does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer; the site owner should have it reviewed.
This explains what Pueblo Connect collects, why, and who can see it. It works alongside our Terms.
What we collect
Your account. Username, email address and password. The password is stored in scrambled (hashed) form; we cannot read it. You may add a city and a profile photo.
What you post and do. Posts, photos, comments, likes, group and event activity (including RSVPs and check-ins), reviews, deal claims, points, Passport stamps, Best of the Pueblo votes, Booth answers, Street Team submissions, issue reports, and your messages to other members.
Business details. If you add a business: its name, category, description, address, phone, website, logo, deals and events.
Messages you send us. Contact and advertising forms (name, email, message).
Technical records. Short-lived records of login and form attempts tied to your IP address to block abuse, one sign-in cookie, and a simple per-page daily visit count that stores no visitor identifiers.
Location. We do not collect your location. Passport check-ins work on the honor system. “Members Near You” only uses the city you choose to enter.
Payments
Business plans are requested on the site and arranged directly with the Pueblo Connect team. This site does not collect or store card numbers.
Who can see it
- Public pages (businesses, events, deals, classifieds, spotlights, Best of, Pueblo Live and approved answers) can be seen by anyone.
- Posts, profiles and the newsfeed are visible according to the settings on each page.
- Direct messages are visible to you and the other person. Pueblo Connect administrators can access stored data to run the site and handle reports.
We do not sell your personal information.
Outside services
This site is self-contained: fonts, scripts and images are served from the same place as the pages, and no analytics or advertising services are used. Links you click to outside websites (for example, a business website) are governed by those sites’ policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account exists. Abuse-prevention records are deleted after a short time. You can delete your account in Account settings, which removes your profile and content.
Your choices
You can edit your profile and password in your account. To ask us to correct or delete information, or with any privacy question, contact us.
